About the Program

The MAPS Mentorship Program is designed to foster your professional growth in Medical Affairs by promoting knowledge sharing, strengthening leadership and strategic skills, supporting career development, and building a collaborative professional community.

Program Pillars

  • Knowledge Sharing – Mentorship promotes knowledge sharing by transferring practical insight, lived experience, and professional perspectives that support growth in Medical Affairs.
  • Leadership and Strategic Skill Development – Through structured mentor relationships, participants strengthen leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, communication, and the ability to influence effectively in complex environments.
  • Career Development – The program supports career development by helping mentees clarify their goals and equipping mentors to further develop their own leadership through meaningful guidance and exchange.
  • Collaborative Professional Community – Participants build lasting connections within a collaborative community of Medical Affairs professionals who continue to learn from and support one another beyond the program.

Application and Review Process

The application window for the 2027 program will open on January 4th through March 19th, 2027.

The MAPS Mentorship Committee reviews every application individually and makes thoughtful pairings based on experience level, development goals, and industry background. 2027 applicants will receive a notification of program acceptance and their group or 1:1 pairing on or before the official start of the program on April 12th, 2027.

Please know that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. All applications are reviewed and approved based on pre-determined program criteria and availability. Applications received after the window closes will be held for secondary review and may not receive an assignment. First-time mentees are given priority consideration over repeat applicants.
